Nursery Class information and resources

Welcome
A warm welcome to our Pre-School Nursery page!

Our Teacher is Miss Chazot and our Teaching Assistant is Mrs McGonigal.

One of us will be your 'Key Person' but you will get to work and spend time with both of us, as well as the other Early Years Practitioners within our welcoming EYFS setting.
We currently offer a 15 hour morning session or a 30 hours session, where children stay all day.

These sessions are open to children over the age of 3.  Most children will start nursery the term after their third birthday, but there are some exceptions.  Please look at the Childcare Choices website below to find out further information to your childcare entitlement.

Places are allocated according to birthdate so although the office will acknowledge your application, an offer will not be made until closer to your child's start date.
If you are looking for a nursery place, please contact school.
Application forms can be requested from our school office.

We are an EYFS Unit which means that children share the indoor and outdoor space in all weathers with Reception children. Children are grouped into small 'Family Groups' led by a Key Person at the start and end of every session. The rest of the time, the children learn through play, supported by the five fabulous staff who work within our Unit.

We encourage a love of reading with our 'Bookworms' sharing library, where children choose a book to share at home.

We share information on Tapestry relating to what your child is learning in Nursery and ways to support that learning at home.
