Home Learning with BBC Bitesize.
BBC Bitesize have created a series of daily lessons which are available to access on their website.  When you go to the website, you are prompted to choose your year group and from there, you link to the lessons. There is an English lesson, a Maths lesson and a foundation subject lesson per day. The lessons incorporate videos and a range of activities including interactive activities, games, downloadable worksheets etc.
Early Start Online: French
All children can now access the website that we use in school for French lessons, to recap work done this year.
Password: french2020
These are the login details for everyone so please don't try to change them! Merci!
Pobble 365:
One picture. One teaching resource. Every day of the year.
Every day, there will be a different picture on this website.
If you click the down arrow towards the bottom of the screen, it will lead you to:
  • a set of questions to answer about the picture
  • a sentence starter that you can use to write a  story about the picture
  • pictures that you can draw in context with the given picture.
Learning By Questions @ Home.
LbQ have launched a new platform (separate from the tasks that I have been setting) which has hundreds of online classroom resources that children can work through at their own pace whilst receiving marking and feedback as they go. In the current uncertain climate, this is another effective learning resource to educate your children while they cannot attend school. Why not keep the children occupied with high-quality questions that boost learning and grow confidence?
Classroom Secrets Easter activities:
Either choose your child's year group from across the top bar on the web page or scroll down the page to access your child's year group, day of the week and activity to complete.
Be Internet Legends:
Online games, resources and activities that teach about Internet Safety.
Click on 'Play to become an Internet Legend. Explore Interland.'
White Rose Maths Easter Activities:
Click on each picture on the website to enlarge the activities. Some activities have a second page to them which can be accessed once you have clocked on the picture.
Out of the Ark Music.
Out of the Ark Music are offering free songs and linked resources for children to use whilst at home. So far, they have created two weeks worth of songs and activities, one for every day of the week. They will be adding more over the coming weeks.
Just another resource I thought some of you might be interested in.
Below are just some ideas for you to do at home to keep busy! You could always take a photo or the things that you find/collect or draw and write about the things that you find for each category in the topic book in your work pack.
Don't forget to put everything back where you found it after the scavenger hunts though!!
