Our school data
Using the environment to support learning outdoors is one of our fundamental beliefs and is well recognised in helping develop strong, independent learners and thinkers. To support this belief, we have a fully qualified forest school instructor on site to ensure that children have the highest quality learning experiences both on the school site and beyond on our ‘into nature’ days.
Children learn about the changing seasons, develop a love for the outdoors and learn to use tools safely in a meaningful way.
All of our children access weekly Forest School sessions led by a fully qualified member of staff and accompanied by their Key Person.
We start each session with a 'welcome' song, have a story stimulus and then explore before finishing with our 'tasty treat' - something warm from the campfire before singing our 'goodbye' song and returning back to school.
